We offer a once in a lifetime opportunity to people to enjoy the thrill of skydiving over the most beautiful island of Zanzibar with the specialized in Tandem Skydives; where you are connected to a qualified professional who will be with you every step (or jump!) of the way. The team has over 20 years experience, providing skydiving in over 10 different countries around the world.  How is a Tandem Skydive? ​After only 30 minutes of training, the experienced and qualified instructors will fully prepare you to experience the thrill and excitement of skydiving. Connected with a harness, together you will jump out of the plane with your instructor. They take control from beginning to end, allowing you to enjoy the view and experience. For safety reasons please be advised that the maximum weight for a tandem skydive is 100kg. The minimum age is 10 years old and the client should be in good health. How much does it cost? The price for a tandem skydive is $435 per person. The price includes a professionally edited video and photos of your experience, including a 30 second edit for Instagram How high do we jump from? You board the airplane for a 20 minute scenic flight and can enjoy the island views as you climb to altitude 10,000ft (3050m) plane ride over the coastline. You will jump out while attached to the front of an instructor and experience free fall for about 50 seconds. Your instructor will then open the parachute, and you will have a 5-minute canopy flight back to the skydive center for a soft landing right on the beach. How long does it take? From arrival at the office, to leaving with your video, you will be with us for around two hours.  How do I make a booking? We recommend that you book  around 3/4 days before you jump to secure your preferred time. What do I wear? Shorts, trousers or even jeans are fine, with a tee shirt or sweater (it can get cold at 10,000ft). We suggest you wear a lace-up or tight fitting shoes. We do have jump suits available should you prefer, and we will provide all other equipment that you need. Where do I land? We will land gently back onto the beach at the Skydive Centre, next to Kendwa Rocks bars and restaurant.  How do I get my video and photo? We produce two videos for you. One long video, edited with music and a 30-second Instagram video. The Instagram video will be without music for copyright reasons. MANGAPWANI CORAL CAVE The Mangapwani coral cave tour is a great adventure to one of the historical caves in Zanzibar that has existed for numerous decades. The Slave Chambers was a property of Mohammed Bin Nassor Al-Alwi around 1880 from the cave and connected to the seaside 2kms away, the area is surrounded by varieties of indigenous trees such as Breadfruit, Rambo tans and scent shrubs. It was an important transit point for the captured slaves to be sold to the outside world at the time of the abolishment of slavery in 1873 especial in the middle East. Between 1880-1905, the Slave chamber was being used as a place of concealment of the human cargo pending their disposal.
